Bellwright: How to Get Tin

Alongside wood, stone, and copper, you’ll find that tin is one of the most invaluable crafting resources in the early game of Bellwright. You require tin for various research projects, tools, and buildings, making it crucial to progressing deeper into the game. Here is how to get tin in Bellwright!

Where to Get Tin in Bellwright

To get tin in Bellwright, you must first find a tin ore node. It’s a large rock with a bronze vein running through it, and you can find one along the road to Padstow in a field just to the right of the main path. If you check the map below (which requires more exploration), you’ll note the general location. Just follow the road southeast from Haerndean.

Like copper, you can occasionally find pieces of tin ore lying on the ground around rock nodes, especially around the tin ore node.

Furthermore, a single piece of tin ore will take up a 2×1 slot in your inventory, so ensure you have clear space before going on a mining trip!

Once you have a bunch of tin ore, return to your settlement and use the Bloomery. If you open the crafting menu, you’ll note that tin ingot is the last recipe available. Crafting a single ingot requires one piece of tin ore and 50 seconds. I recommend allowing your worker to handle the task so you can focus on more important jobs.

Once you have some tin ingots in your settlement storage container, you can craft various items and structures, including:

  • Pitchfork
  • Pit Saw

As you progress, you’ll unlock additional recipes for new items and structures that require tin ingots.
