You’ll likely have the opportunity to play but one class in Season 4 of Diablo 4. But picking one of the five available proves rather challenging. Which one is the meta this time around? Which one is the most fun with all the game-changing tweaks Blizzard made? Here is the Diablo 4 Season 4 best class we think you should play first!
The Best Season 4 Class in Diablo 4
As of right now, the Necromancer is the best class in Diablo 4 Season 4. Its minions received a significant buff, allowing them to tank everything in sight with little issue. You can even manage to slay bosses using nothing but your minions.
As someone who doesn’t generally play Necromancer—I don’t like their basic skills—I might honestly give this character a shot through the entirety of Season 4. I’ll still play my usual Barbarian on the side, but the Necromancer’s powerful minions, especially the Golem, seem enticing.
Currently, the Necromancer is the number one choice for Season 4 because of its many buffs, ease of leveling, survivability, and time to clear world events. If you intend to play Necromancer, opt for the Summoning Necromancer, with points placed into Blight and Corpse Explosion. Then, work to max your minions to rank three early on before taking Hellbent Commander, as it allows them to deal additional damage while near you.

What is the Second Best Class for Season 4?
In what should be a surprise to absolutely no one, the second-best class for Diablo 4 Season 4 is the Druid. They’re one of the slowest classes to level, but if you stick with this powerhouse, especially in Werebear or Werewolf form, you’ll find a powerful class capable of pushing you through to the end game of this season.
Of course, the ultimate class in Season 4 is the one you enjoy playing the most. It might not follow the meta, especially for this season, but I fully intend to play a Barbarian to level 100. It’ll take some time and a whole lot of gear farming, but I’ll make it!
