In my humble opinion, there are never enough cozy farming and life-sim games on the market today. The reigning king, Stardew Valley, dominates the entire genre, and few come close to matching its enjoyable gameplay. But many try. The latest is Pixelshire, an upcoming cozy farming sim with life-sim and adventuring elements. Oh, and it’s almost here, launching on May 8th!
Okay, so what is Pixelshire precisely? Pixelshire is the latest in a long line of pixel-graphics cozy farming games. You’ll gather resources, sculpt the landscape around you via terraforming mechanics, forge friendships with the locals, adventure across the land utilizing skills and talents, and, of course, farm a plot of land that’s all your own. Oh, and hey, you can build houses for everyone you meet!
There’s currently no word on the cost of the game, whether co-op will come to the game in the future, and mum’s the word on the romance system, though it’s in development by the small team.
