Why Everyone Hates Penny in Stardew Valley
There are a handful of reasons why people dislike Penny in Stardew Valley, but the most common is her two-heart event. During this cutscene, she attempts to help George gather some letters from his mailbox. She’s trying to help. However, she doesn’t consider George’s feelings in the matter and forces her assistance on him.
For someone as lovely and caring as Penny, it’s strange. You have a chance to stick up for George in the dialogue following the scene, which will cause Penny to lose hearts with you.

Who is Penny?
Penny, a young villager in Pelican Town and one of the marriage candidates in the game is the daughter of Pam, the town’s drunkard and bus driver. She’s most notably known for tutoring Jas and Vincent, her shocking red hair, and her mother, who rarely leaves the trailer near the town center.
If you can look past some of the hate from within the community, Penny is a kind and caring marriage candidate who wishes to help those around her. Being a cute, quiet bookworm with a penchant for learning and helping certainly makes her more enticing to many players.
