For those of us still thoroughly enjoying Starfield, or for the many on the sidelines awaiting more information on the next big update, the studio is about to floor the community. We’ll see tweaks to navigating cityscapes, additional console settings to improve performance, and even additional starship customization. Here’s more about the next big update to Starfield!
The Next Major Update for Starfield Comes in May
As a player who focuses heavily on customization in Bethesda titles, the upcoming update for Starfield genuinely speaks to me and the many players who feel similarly. The most significant change, in my personal opinion, is the ability to decorate and customize the interior of your starship, with empty hab modules available for the ultimate personalization.
On top of the starship customization enhancements, we’ll also experience:
- Additional gameplay difficulty options
- Detailed surface maps, particularly to help navigate cities
- Changes to New Game+ for additional personalization
- Container and Barter UI enhancements for better sorting
- Plenty of quality-of-life updates
Furthermore, the team revealed they’re currently working on land vehicles for Starfield. The development of additional quests and the upcoming Shattered Space expansion continues to progress smoothly.
