Where to Sell Unwanted Items in Starfield
Several shops and vendors are scattered throughout the Settled Systems in Starfield. Following the game’s short prologue, the Ship Technician explains that the Trade Authority operates numerous kiosks near major ports when you first land in New Atlantis. You can sell most unwanted items at the kiosk without interacting with an NPC.
To find a Trade Authority Kiosk, land in New Atlantis, Neon, Cydonia, Akila City, The Den, HopeTown, and there’s a full-fledged shop on The Key, by searching for the ugly yellow box near the landing pad. It looks like this:
However, If you’d prefer, some shops will buy almost any item in the game, with few exceptions, such as Jemison Mercantile in New Atlantis, Shepherd’s General Store in Akila City, and UC Exchange in Cydonia. Of course, New Homestead, Gagarin Landing, The Key, and countless other notable locations offer their own vendors.
Furthermore, several mods are available—and the list continues growing—that shake up the economy in Starfield. Some will force shops to specialize so they can’t purchase weapons at, say, Midtown Mineral in Akila City.
