Can You Play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Multiplayer?
While you likely wouldn’t guess from watching actual gameplay or press information regarding Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, it does feature multiplayer. You can play the entire story in co-op with another player.
However, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora does not offer PvP. Instead, it is a two-player experience similar to the cooperative elements in Far Cry 5 and Far Cry 6.
Personally, I’m a huge fan of co-op in Ubisoft titles, as their expansive open worlds offer so many unique ways to approach objectives. With two players, you can have one stealthily hiding in the bushes, taking out targets from afar, while the other sneaks in through a side entrance.

How to Play Co-op in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
You can invite a friend to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora by opening the pause menu, selecting “Co-op,” and then, under the Friends section, choose the player you would like to invite to your name and select “Invite to Group.”
Once they accept your invitation, they’ll appear in your game world. Oh, and yes, you can progress together. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora supports co-op progression, meaning that quest progress is saved for both players, and the second player can skip completed quests in their single-player world.
Furthermore, the co-op partner will retain rewards and items from quests, including:
- Ammunition
- Crafting Materials
- Cosmetics
- Gear
- Weapons
- Purchases
- Upgrades
It’s genuinely co-op progress done correctly!
