How Many Players Does Path of Exile Have? – Answered

Like many of you, I’m always curious to see how many people play my favorite games. It’s fun knowing I share something with potentially thousands of people I’ll likely never interact with inside or outside of the game. With that thought in mind, how many players does Path of Exile have?

How Many People Play Path of Exile?

As of this writing (July 4, 2024), Path of Exile enjoys approximately 6,500 players with a 24-hour peak of just over 7,100 players in-game. Many thousands of people are still creating new characters and testing out end-game builds more than a decade after the game’s initial release.

It’s astounding that any game could retain such impressive player numbers late into its lifespan. But with the upcoming Path of Exile 2, I think more players than ever before can’t contain their hype. They want the sequel. I want the sequel! And so, I’m booting up Path of Exile for the millionth time tonight!

What is the All-Time Peak Number of Players in Path of Exile?

While more than 7,000 players in a single day is impressive, it’s small beans compared to the all-time peak number of players Path of Exile enjoyed in the past. Of course, such days aren’t that far behind them. The all-time peak was just 15 months ago. At the time, the ARPG surpassed 211,000 players in a single day!
