Pioner Open Beta Kicks Off Early November

Pioner, the upcoming MMOFPS from developer GFAGAMES, is set to welcome a horde of new survivors next month. To prepare, the studio is kicking off a limited stress test, beginning today, in which they’re admitting a select handful of users. But next week, when the Pioner open beta begins, everyone can download and play the post-apocalyptic survival shooter!

Pioner Open Beta Info

The Pioner open beta begins on November 4th.

At this time, we don’t know precisely what the beta includes. We imagine it’ll be a select zone, perhaps the intro area, allowing players a chance at exploring the game’s post-apocalyptic setting.

If you want to play the open beta, you’ll have a chance to download the beta client on Steam come November 4th.

Furthermore, the team did state this is the game’s first open beta, alluding to additional testing before release. The game is still listed as coming in 2025, though.

How to Get Into the Pioner Open Beta

If you want to ensure you’re notified of the Pioner open beta, go ahead and Wishlist on Steam. There, on the game’s official store page, you can also sign up for the closed testing phases, though there’s no guarantee you’ll be chosen.

Come November 4th, when the open beta kicks off, you can download the client and play the game without waiting for the studio to pick your name out of a virtual hat.

It’s unclear precisely what time, how long the beta lasts, or how big the download is for the open beta, however. We’ll let you know once we know more!
