Can You Mod Starfield on Xbox? – Answered

Everyone deserves an opportunity to mod their game to oblivion and beyond. Don’t you want to fight a dragon in your starship? I do! So, can you mod Starfield on Xbox? Let’s discuss!

Will Starfield Have Xbox Mods?

Following the Xbox Games Showcase, which was absolutely phenomenal, we now have Starfield mods! Bethesda launched the Creation Club the same night as the showcase on both PC and Xbox Series X|S, and while the selection of available downloads remains limited, it’ll grow in the coming days and weeks. Mod authors now have access to the Creation Kit, allowing them to craft game mods!

You can’t upload anything you want to the mod repository on the console, as most items must receive Microsoft’s approval before they go live. But that’s not the case on Nexus Mods. As such, you’ll have far fewer mods on the Xbox Series X|S.

Starfield Mods We Desperately Want on Xbox

While we’re unsure whether Xbox will support such Starfield mods, here’s what we hope to see:

Richer Merchants

For those of us who enjoy playing a merchant character in games like Starfield, there’s a distinct problem with its vendors: they’re poor. The merchants in the game don’t have enough credits to satisfy my ever-increasing demands.

But with a Richer Merchants mod, that all changes. You can now play a space trucker, a miner, or transport contraband and make a profit. Xbox players deserve a better economy!

Alternate Start

Having spent hundreds or thousands of hours in previous Bethesda titles, like Fallout 4 and Skyrim, I must admit that I usually install an Alternate Start mod before a new playthrough. By now, it feels like wasting time going through a game’s prologue.

But with an Alternate Start mod, you gain greater control over your character, their background, and where you start your journey. You can more easily roleplay, which is always fun, and see Starfield from a new perspective!

Inventory Overhaul

I don’t know how they manage it, but in every release, from Skyrim to Fallout 76, Bethesda somehow fails with the inventory UI. They desperately require a rework, and the community excels in offering one.

Playing Starfield on Xbox, you’re likely sitting on the opposite side of the room. It’s tough to see your inventory adequately, but an overhaul could make life easier and more manageable for console players!

The Guide Hall hopes everyone on PC and Xbox finds the perfect Starfield mods to suit their playstyle and wildest desires. We’ll have more on mods for the game, alongside in-depth guides!
