When Does the Elden Ring DLC Come Out?
It’s nearly upon us, folks! The upcoming Elden Ring DLC is being called one of the most significant expansions in gaming history, surpassing The Witcher 3’s Blood and Wine DLC. Thankfully, you won’t have to wait long to play Shadow of the Erdtree!

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Patch Notes
Ahead of the upcoming DLC launch, developer FromSoftware pushed a new update to Elden Ring. It includes a few quality-of-life tweaks, new features, and additional character customization options.
- Newly acquired items will now be marked with a “!”
- An inventory tab called “Recent Items” will show all newly acquired items
- Active Summoning Pools carry over to New Game+
- You may now turn Individual Summong Pools on/off in the Map Functions Menu
- Only active Summoning Pools will auto-select when using a Small Golden Effigy
- Five new hairstyles (Available in character creation, the Clouded Mirror Stand, or Rennala’s Rebirth)
Of course, Elden Ring may receive yet another update alongside Shadow of the Erdtree or shortly after its launch to fix any bugs in the expansion.
