How to Reach The Red Mile in Starfield
To reach The Red Mile in Starfield, you must fly to the Porrima System, specifically to Porrima III, east of Olympus and Volii and south of Kryx. This distant, level 30-star system has little to explore beyond the infamous gambling den.
Upon landing in the frozen wasteland of Porrima III, the only structure to greet you is the neon-lit Red Mile. It’s surrounded by walls separating it from the outside world, and patrolling guards roam the landing pad, with more stationed at each exterior door.
Once inside, the real fun begins!
What You’ll Find in The Red Mile
Within The Red Mile, you’ll discover a few goods and services, including a ship technician who can outfit your starship with improved Cargo Modules. The technician, Lars, will also sell a few ships, though they’re pretty standard fare that you can find at other spaceports.
But the real highlight of The Red Mile isn’t the lucrative smuggling opportunities or swanky bar and gambling den inside; it’s the gauntlet outside. Do yourself a favor and walk down the steps past Mei, then to the windows beyond the gambling monitors. See for yourself!
Outside the comforts of the den, there’s a circular arena filled with monsters, mayhem, and extreme weather conditions that, if you’re feeling brave, you can tackle. You’ll receive the Desperation unique rifle if you beat the Red Mile 28 times.
