Black Myth: Wukong Boss Fight

Is Black Myth: Wukong Coming to Xbox Series X|S? – Answered

Whenever there’s a new Soulslike on the horizon, rabid fans go wild in anticipation. Now, that’s not a slight against the fans. I’m among them. But we must know more about Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox Series X|S. Is it happening?

Can You Play Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox Series X|S?

Unfortunately, while initially launching on most major systems, including the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, that’s no longer the case. Black Myth: Wukong will launch on PC and PS5 on release day, but not on Xbox Series X|S.

Oh, but don’t worry! It’s still coming to the Xbox Series X|S, just at a later date. The team, speaking about the delay on the Xbox system, said:

PC and PS5 users can enjoy the full game starting August 20, 2024. We are currently optimizing the Xbox Series X|S version to meet our quality standards, so it won’t release simultaneously with the other platforms.

We apologize for the delay and aim to minimize the wait for Xbox users. We will announce the release date as soon as it meets our quality standards.

Game Science

While it’s unfortunate the Souslike won’t launch simultaneously on the Xbox Series X|S, it appears worth the wait. I mean, look at the combat and movement mechanics!
