Cult of the Lamb: How to Move Buildings

I’m more than guilty of being indecisive when building up my cult in Cult of the Lamb. I plop down a building, then an hour later, decide I don’t like its positioning and want to try something different. Thankfully, it’s possible to move buildings in Cult of the Lamb, and here’s how!

How to Move Buildings in Cult of the Lamb

To move buildings in Cult of the Lamb, head over to your building station and open the menu, then take a peak at the bottom left corner below all of your structures. There, you’ll note an option to move structures. Once you activate this mechanic, you’ll move into a new screen where you may select any currently placed building on the map and either remove it entirely or move it to a new location.

So long as you have space for the new structure, you can move it. However, buildings like the Temple, one of the largest in the game, require careful planning and preparation.

Why Move Buildings Cult of the Lamb

There are a handful of reasons why you may wish to move buildings in Cult of the Lamb. First and foremost, you might not like the layout of your cult. As previously mentioned, I’m guilty of this. I placed my Temple and Shelters in one location, then ultimately decided that the plot of land would be better suited to farmland.

Alternatively, you may wish to optimize your layout. If you want Followers to focus on Farm Plots, place them near your Shelters so that they may toil the fields immediately upon waking. Alternatively, if you concentrate on unlocking additional perks and upgrades via the various Sermons and Doctrines, place your Temple near your Shelters, as I have above.

In the end, it’s your base. It’s entirely up to you how you build it out, but now you have the tools to move buildings to your liking!
