I grew up playing the Ghost Recon franchise alongside my stepfather, and they helped to instill a deep-seated love for the tactical shooter genre overall. Now, I’m usually stuck in an extraction shooter, like Escape From Tarkov, but I still want more from my beloved childhood franchise. Will Ubisoft Reveal Ghost Recon Project Over at Summer Game Fest or Ubisoft Forward?
Unfortunately, thanks to word from an insider, we know Ghost Recon Project Over won’t appear at Summer Game Fest or Ubisoft Forward. While development is progressing smoothly, and what’s currently available appears fantastic, it’s not quite ready for public consumption. As such, we must wait at least one more year for a showcase reveal.
However, Ubisoft intends to heat up this year with numerous reveals, announcements, and additional information on recent titles, like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora!

What is Ubisoft Showing at Ubisoft Forward?
Currently, there’s quite a bit online about what Ubisoft—mostly thanks to their official website—intends to show off at their upcoming event on June 10. Based on the publisher’s official website, we know they intend to talk about the following titles in some capacity:
- Rainbow Six: Siege
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- Star Wars Outlaws
- XDefiant
- Skull & Bones
- Assassin’s Creed Shadows
However, we have it on good authority that the team intends to reveal a brand-new title in a long-running city-building franchise. I’m sure you can guess which one!
I’d love to see more from Ubisoft overall, like The Division 3, but I don’t think that’s happening just yet. It’s too soon! What would you like to see at Ubisoft Forward?
