Helldivers 2 is an absolute phenomenon in the gaming industry. It’s live-service gaming done right for what seems like the first time ever, and the community is rewarding the effort. But everyone wants a chance at playing the game. So, when will Helldivers 2 be on Xbox?
Is Helldivers 2 Coming to Xbox Systems?
Unfortunately, it’s doubtful that Helldivers 2 will be released on Xbox systems, primarily due to Sony Interactive Entertainment. They’re the sole publisher of Helldivers 2 and, as such, have the final say on which systems the third-person shooter becomes available on.
Now, that’s not to say all hope is lost. As we’ve seen recently with Microsoft, there’s a push in the gaming industry to reduce or remove exclusivity to launch on as many platforms as imaginable. Sony will probably follow suit, considering their success on PC. But on Xbox? We’ll have to wait and see!

Where Can You Play Helldivers 2?
You can purchase and play Helldivers 2 on PC and PlayStation 5. It’s exclusive to both systems and unavailable on PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch.
Honestly, I don’t think the Switch can successfully run Helldivers 2. However, I may be surprised, as Helldivers 2 on Steam Deck runs relatively well on lower difficulties with a few graphical tweaks!
How Much is Helldivers 2?
A copy of Helldivers 2 costs $39.99. It includes microtransactions in the form of cosmetics and battle passes, but they’re completely fair. You can earn the premium currency, known as Super Credits, in the game by completing objectives around the map during a mission. Furthermore, the skins are reasonably priced!
