Despite its initial reception, there are still a lot of people enjoying Starfield. But you know what would bring more players back? Official mod support! So, when are the mods coming to Starfield on Xbox?
When Will Xbox Receive Starfield Mods?
Currently, we don’t have an official release date for Starfield mods support on Xbox or PC. Bethesda Game Studios continues aiming for a significant update every six weeks, though they’re late on the most recent release. It’s said they’ll have official mod support for us soon enough.
Personally, I think they’re waiting until the launch of Shattered Space, the game’s first major expansion. Once they launch brand-new content, along with a few significant updates to smooth out rough patches, it makes the most sense to give the modding community a toolkit to work with.

When Will the Starfield Creation Kit Launch?
Again, we don’t have a date for the Starfield Creation Kit. Once it does release, you can bet the modding community will go crazy working on top-of-the-line game mods.
It’s important to note that the launch of the Starfield Creation Kit means official mod support for the whole community. In the past, titles such as Skyrim and Fallout 4 received modding kits—versions of the Creation Kit. This new one for Starfield, however, promises significant upgrades. Those improvements are likely why we’ve yet to see anything concrete.
