Do you want to hear something truly impressive? Since its launch, Battlefield 6 has performed so exceptionally well that it’s risen to become one of the most-played first-person shooters on Steam. That’s right, it has surpassed Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and even the free-to-play BF6 Open Beta. More people bought the game and played online than downloaded a free client. Here’s a look at the Battlefield 6 player count that’s currently impressing everyone worldwide!
As of this writing, Battlefield 6 is currently sitting at number 14 on the most-played games on Steam, just below Baldur’s Gate 3 and Hogwarts Legacy.
Even more impressive is, the Battlefield 6 peak player count is sitting comfortably at just shy of 750,000 players. As I write this, there are almost 550,000 players in-game at 8 AM. How many people do you know who willingly wake up this early for anything?
Of course, these are just Steam numbers. The game is also available on EA App, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. As such, we suspect those player numbers may be triple what’s reported on SteamDB, perhaps even more. Either way, it’s safe to assume Battlefield 6 is a massive success for EA and Battlefield Studios.
Hey, who would have thought going back to your roots would be such a good thing?
Fingers crossed the Battlefield 6 servers can withstand the load!
