Just touch them together a little bit, right? You get something like Level Zero: Extraction, with monsters and mayhem in the dark. But what is Level Zero: Extraction?
Everything You Should Know About Level Zero: Extraction
In the same style as Hunt: Showdown—another horror extraction shooter worth your time—Level Zero: Extraction is a PvPvE multiplayer game, unlike most others. On top of its tactical and extraction shooter elements, with a strong focus on recovering loot and getting the hell out of dodge, numerous alien-like monsters exist throughout the level. But they’re not all AI. Some of them, unfortunately, are human-controlled foes for you and your squad to face off against.
However, it’s not enough to bring along the biggest weapon you can afford. These aliens cannot withstand light. They’re susceptible to flashlights, flares, and even an overhead lightbulb left on in an empty office. As a human, you must use light sources to your advantage. Avoid them at all costs as an alien and hunt from the shadows.
To make your job as a PMC easier, Level Zero: Extraction offers countless weapon types, extensive weapon customization, and plenty of loot to help you earn a few bucks for your troubles.

When Can You Play Level Zero: Extraction?
If you’re as excited as I am about Level Zero: Extraction, you’ll be happy to learn the wait is nearly over. Level Zero: Extraction launches into Steam Early Access on August 13.
If you want to support the studio and play the game in Early Access, the base game will cost $19.99. However, there’s a 10% launch discount for the first two weeks, bringing the title down to $17.99.
Furthermore, we’re unsure how long the game will remain in Early Access, though I suspect a year or two like most other projects.
