Should You Play Bellwright in Early Access?

If you’re terrified of the survival crafting genre in Steam Early Access, then listen; I completely understand your reservations. I can’t count how many times an Early Access survival game has burned me, yet here I am, still picking them up on day one.

So, as to whether you should play Bellwright right now in its Early Access state, I must ask whether you enjoy the genre. Do you want it enough to play yet another one with game-breaking bugs, glitches, and occasional crashes?

Overall, Bellwright is exceptionally solid. It’s stable for an EA release, and I’ve not encountered severe crashes or glitches that ruin the overall experience. In fact, I’ve yet to crash once. So, as of right now, I recommend the game in its current state.

That said, according to the game’s reviews, some people do experience excessive crashing in Bellwright. Be wary of Early Access!
