What Are the Norland System Requirements? – Answered

The strategy genre may not be known for pushing the envelope in terms of graphics, but it’s still nice to know the system requirements for Norland before diving in, right? Thankfully, they’re pretty manageable.

The Norland System Requirements in Early Access

Like with other colony sim games, Norland’s system requirements prove relatively lax. Thanks to its pulled-back view and more artistic graphics instead of realistic aesthetics, you can run the game on most computers, even many laptops.

Here is what it currently takes to run the game:

  • Windows 64-bit
  • 8 GB RAM
  • Intel® Core™ i3-8100 / AMD Ryzen™ 3 1200
  • GTX 1060 or similar
  • Display resolution 1920х1080
  • Disk space: 1 GB

Overall, the game doesn’t require much to run smoothly. These provided system requirements may change, of course. This game is launching into Early Access in July, and much of the experience is subject to change during its development period. I don’t suspect we’ll require a powerhouse computer to run Norland, though!

When You Can Play Norland

Following a recent delay to ensure the studio can implement a few tweaks, performance fixes, and additional content before hitting Early Access, Norland will launch on Steam on July 18. The original release date was this May, approximately halfway through the month, but that’s no longer the case, sadly.

Still, a delay to improve the overall gameplay experience is never wrong. We can wait patiently, right?
