It’s quite unusual for a studio to launch its DLC as Early Access, but that’s where we’re at currently. Developer Eugen Systems announced this morning, August 28, that Southag is available now in Early Access for those who own the WARNO Expansion Pass. If you’re an Expansion Pass holder, the DLC should automatically begin to download this morning. The expansion’s full release will be available to everyone else sometime later this year.
What’s in WARNO Southag Early Access?
In Early Access, WARNO Southag will feature most of the expansion’s contents, including:
- 8 out of 10 Divisions
- 4 out of 4 Operations
- Delayed Retribution
- Glory or Attrition
- Hydra
- +1 additional Operation
- No Army General Campaign
For Divisions, you can play around with:

- 6e Division Légère Blindée
- 1. Luftlande-Division
- 1st Canadian Division
- PACT
- 31-ya Tank. Div.
- 1. Tanková Divize

Alongside the new Operations and Divisions, Southag includes:
- Additional voice acting
- New units and models

Eugen Systems acknowledged that the Southag development isn’t progressing as smoothly as intended, but they’re working tirelessly to complete the project. It decided to launch in Early Access like this to ensure players like you can jump into the new content now while the rest is finalized.
