Can You Play Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Co-op?
Developer Saber Interactive, known for their third-person cooperative horde shooter, World War Z, does co-op gameplay exceptionally well. We expect more of the same from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Thankfully, that’s the case. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 offers a whole co-op campaign that you can enjoy solo or with up to three players.
During the extensive campaign, you’ll face off against countless enemies on-screen at once, pushing back a Tyranid invasion alongside your power armor-wearing brethren.
The campaign also features a hub area—the battle barge—which serves as a base of operations for the Ultramarines. Here, you can customize your loadout to prep for upcoming missions. It’s unclear whether every player in the game can freely wander the fortress, but it’s likely.

How Many People Can Play Space Marine 2?
You can play the entire Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 campaign in single-player or with up to three players in co-op. If you’d prefer, you can have a single partner join you in the fight to push back the Tyranids.
It’s important to note that cooperative partners will not be able to create a customer character in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Instead, everyone in the game plays as carefully crafted characters laid out by the developers.
