How Many Melee Weapons in Vein?
Yeah, this isn’t Left 4 Dead 2. You’re not about to rock an infinite ammo submachine gun and mow down hundreds of zombies in Vein. Instead, you’ll use your wits and survival instincts to survive small-scale engagements against a handful of undead. Your agility and endurance will prove most effective in this zombie apocalypse.
But then again, a melee weapon doesn’t hurt. Currently, there are more than 60 in the game, and the team will happily take suggestions from the community for more. When I played last night, I rocked a keyboard as a weapon, slugging zombies in the head repeatedly until they went down with a satisfying click-clack.

How Many Guns in Vein?
A melee weapon is up close and personal, and it’s visceral, and it’s kind of cool to survive against a zombie with a hammer in hand. But sometimes, you want to feel powerful. You want your long-term survival to show the fruits of your labor, and that means an arsenal that goes boom.
There are currently 10 firearms in Vein. As the game is in Early Access, we suspect that number to grow. For now, expect to find a few rifles, shotguns, and handguns to round out the weapons in the game!
