The Outlast Trials is doing the live-service model correctly. They’re introducing new content to keep players satiated while offering unique in-game cosmetics you can only purchase with in-game currency. You earn it all by playing the game. There is no real-world premium currency to buy. So, here is how to get Stamps in The Outlast Trials!
How to Earn Stamps in The Outlast Trials
There are several ways to earn Stamps in The Outlast Trials, with the most straightforward being playing the game. The more Trials you play and complete, preferably with a positive outcome, the more you can earn.
Trials
As you complete various Trials, you will earn the occasional Stamps as rewards for performing well. These rewards vary depending on the difficulty, performance, and the Trial. It’s not a lucrative way to earn Stamps, as each Trial takes varying amounts of time to complete, but everything counts, right?
Daily Tasks

As the name might suggest, your Daily Tasks swap out every 24 hours. If you complete them, you’ll receive Stamps for each task you finish and a large bonus for finishing all three.
These tasks aren’t particularly difficult. Most of the time, the dailies ask you to complete a specific number of Trials, run a certain distance, use Night Vision for so many seconds, or heal yourself using your Heal Rig. They’re straightforward and, as of right now, the easiest way to earn Stamps in The Outlast Trials.
Weekly Tasks

In addition to Daily Tasks, Weekly Tasks rotate out once per week, typically on the weekend, and provide Stamps for each task you finish. There are usually ten Weekly Tasks; if you complete eight, you’ll receive a large bonus worth 100 Stamps.
Again, the Weekly Tasks prove relatively straightforward, but in greater quantity. So, instead of completing three Trials for a Daily Task, the Weekly may ask you to complete 9 Trials.
Challenges

In the same menu as your Daily and Weekly Tasks, you also have a variety of challenges specific to unique aspects of the game, including Bambino, Genesis, Reagent, and Escalation Therapy. These tasks do not reset so you can work on them at your leisure. However, not all of them offer Stamps. Those under the Bambino category, for instance, do reward you with quite a few. The other categories, for the time being, do not.

What You Can Buy With Stamps

Currently, you can use Stamps in The Outlast Trials to purchase cosmetic items, including outfits, clothing, and player icons, along with the occasional bit of Murkoff Coins, from the game’s newly-added Catalog. It’s similar to a battle pass in which you earn all of the currencies in-game to unlock the cosmetic items, none of which provide an unfair advantage.
There are currently two Catalogs in the game: A New You and Project Lupara (Deluxe). To unlock the Deluxe Catalog, you must accumulate 1,000 Murkoff Coins via unlocks from the A New You Catalog. Then, you can “purchase” the Project Lupara Catalog. It’s a similar style to Helldivers 2, which is a welcome change!
The Guide Hall honestly cannot get enough of The Outlast Trials. We return frequently, awaiting new content to bring you in-depth guides from the world of Murkoff!
