Where to Find Mother Gooseberry in The Outlast Trials
As one of the key Prime Assets in the game, Mother Gooseberry spawns in many of the Core Therapy Trials, including those within the Orphanage, Toy Factory, and Fun Park.
She doesn’t always appear straight away, however. You may need to deal with a few Grunts, Big Grunts, Screamers, and the Pusher while tackling objectives before she makes an appearance. Please don’t take her slow start as a sign of weakness. The moment she shows her face, it’s all out terror for those in her path.

How to Deal With Mother Gooseberry in The Outlast Trials
As one of the slower Prime Assets, Mother Gooseberry is relatively easy to kite and run away from. The issue in dealing with her stems from how quiet she can sometimes be, sneaking up on the Reagents and grabbing hold to deal damage.
When you spot Mother Gooseberry, try not to lose sight of her hulking figure as she lumbers toward you. But definitely run in the opposite direction. She’s smart, so don’t immediately hop into a cabinet or beneath a bed to hide. You’ll want to put a bit of distance between the two of you, like a floor, and then find someplace to chill.
Like all other enemies in the game, however, she’s susceptible to stunning by throwing a brick or glass bottle at her. I recommend keeping one on you at all times!
What is the Name of the Puppet in The Outlast Trials?
The puppet Mother Gooseberralways y carries with her is Doctor A. Futterman, a cartoon duck that now stands in for her abusive father of the same name. When the real Futterman passed on, Gooseberry fell into a deep, spiraling hole of psychosis and dissociative identity disorder.
Her puppet, though certainly not possessed by the untamed spirit of her deceased father, still poses a severe hazard to Reagents. She’s stuffed a dental drill inside its mouth and will open the puppet and attack with it. It’s pretty damaging, which is why you want to keep your distance!
