How to Customize Your Cell in The Outlast Trials
To customize your cell in The Outlast Trials, find the room with your name over the door, then enter and access the cell customization menu by interacting with the bed in the right-hand corner. Everything does cost Credits, which you’ll earn as you play, but there are plenty of options to sift through as you plan your budding career as an interior decorator after the insane asylum stint.
There are plenty of options to personalize your cell that’ll help set you apart from the other patients. You can place down items of varying sizes, decorate the walls with posters, place down carpet, and even choose unique materials for the room, like old-school red brick. It’s a lot of fun to personalize your “safe” space after returning from a dangerous and challenging trial.

How to Unlock Cell Customization Objects in The Outlast Trials
Like with the various clothing options in the game, you can unlock additional cell customization options by completing trials. As you complete trials, you’ll earn credits at the end, dependent on your score. You may then use credits to purchase unique items, with some costing as little as 100 Credits and others, like the various bundles, upwards of 10,000 Credits.
Furthermore, some items require Release Tokens, which you’ll earn by finishing Program X and becoming Reborn. Unlike some clothing bundles, however, the room bundles that require Tokens only cost 10.
