One of the relatively overlooked new features in Project Lupara is the inclusion of Daily and Weekly tasks in The Outlast Trials. It’s a common way for a game to keep our attention for the long term, and the multiplayer survival horror does things correctly. Here is how to check Daily and Weekly tasks in The Outlast Trials, along with how best to complete your challenges!
How to Check Daily and Weekly Tasks in The Outlast Trials

When you’re in the Sleep Room, access the game’s Terminal by interacting with the computer in the lobby or by hitting pause on your peripheral of choice. Once you access said menu, scroll to the end to find “Tasks.” Here, you’ll find:
- Daily Tasks
- Weekly Tasks
- Bambino
- Genesis
- Reagent
- Escalation Therapy
Each category features a variety of unique challenges, some of which you may have already completed previously. If so, you’ll have many XP and, potentially, other rewards waiting for you.
For now, let’s focus on the new Daily and Weekly Tasks. There are three Daily Tasks available, with the fourth unlocked upon completing all three. These include various challenges such as completing three Trials, sliding, or using specific items in-game.
As for Weekly Tasks, they’re often more challenging. They require completing a total of nine Trials, for example, or completing a Trial without taking any damage. It’s tough, but the rewards are usually better than those of Dailies.

How to Complete Daily and Weekly Tasks
Once you complete a Daily or Weekly Task, the progress bar will fill and read “Completed,” after which you may acquire your reward with a click over the specific task. Whatever reward you receive will automatically be deposited into your account.
But here are a few tips to help you complete your Daily and Weekly Tasks in The Outlast Trials:
- Find a competent, experienced group of players to party up with. A knowledgeable group makes a difference when running through the game’s various Trials, especially the new content in Project Lupara!
- Take your time! While the Daily Tasks have a sense of urgency, they’re usually much more accessible to complete than Weekly Tasks. But you may fail if you rush headlong into a Trial with the ultimate goal of completing a challenge.
- Don’t forget to acquire your rewards before the Daily or Weekly Tasks change over! You may lose out on everything if you’re not quick enough, so don’t hesitate. Check frequently, such as before you log off for the day!
