The First Descendant is the new free-to-play MMO looter-shooter from Nexon. The game is available on multiple platforms and allows cross-play and cross-progression.
Carrying over cross-progression is easy, but Nexon has made finding and linking your account oddly obtuse. Here, we will show how to link your Nexon account so you can progress your main character across multiple platforms.
Finding The Account Screen
If you start the game right up, you’ll soon realize there is no place in the in-game menu to link your account. You’ll have to exit the game to link your character and account.
The only way to exit the current game, but not the entire app, is to long press the menu button, which opens up an additional game-based menu. From here, you can exit the game and link your Nexon account.

Navigating Through The Main Menu
Once you’ve reached the main menu, select the options menu from the title screen. The button varies per system. It is X on Xbox, X on Steam Deck, and Square on PlayStation.
From this menu, find the account tab. It is the furthest right tab on the top of the screen. Click on the selection for link account.
Linking Nexon Account In The Main Menu
Once you click the tab to link your account, you’ll be taken to a separate browser with a QR code. From there, you can either manually input your account information or use the on-screen QR code to link the account from your phone.
You can also create an account through this screen that will allow cross-progression for any platform you play on.
