With so many competitive arena shooters on the market today, I’m always surprised to learn when one sticks its landing and continues to push through the muck. Over at Embark Studios, they’re pumping out new content, game modes, weapons, balance changes, arenas, and cosmetics to keep the community coming back for more. Today, we’re excited to tell you about The Finals Season 6!
The Finals Season 6: Rising Stars introduces plenty of welcome fixes and alterations, like the introduction of Team Deathmatch (TDM) as a permanent Quickplay game mode moving forward. It’s available for six of the game’s arenas:
- Fortune Stadium
- Seol
- SYS$HORIZON
- Las Vegas
- Kroto
- Skyway Stadium
Secondly, Power Shift is now available for Bernal and Las Vegas Stadium for those who prefer the more casual 5×5 game mode in which players capture, defend, and win.
Speaking of Quickplay evolutions, you’ll earn Quickplay Points when you play the iconic mode that level your Quickplay Level. As you do, you’ll climb the Season to unlock additional rewards, likely cosmetics, to enhance your gameplay by looking slick.
Next, we have the Las Vegas Stadium, which underwent serious renovations. The stadium was fully redesigned from the ground up to ensure better, smoother movement, greater sightlines, and a smoother combat experience from the buzzer. Furthermore, each Sponsor now claims a piece of the Arena by taking control of the various casinos and branding them as their own.
Speaking of Sponsors, you’ll pledge to one of three: OSPUZE, ALFA ACTA, and ENGIMO.
