Have you played Teardown? It’s an excellent time-killing indie game in which you smash through everything in your path—cars, boats, buildings, etc.—until you achieve your objective, which usually involves stealing something. The downside? You’re on a timer. But that’s about to become less problematic. Soon, you can play Teardown multiplayer with your pals, annoying each other and getting in the way, come mid-March!
Awesome! Multiplayer! But what can you expect from Teardown’s co-op mode?
- The entire main campaign is playable in co-op with friends
- Hop into sandbox mode to experiment and mess around with your pals
- Try out a variety of new multiplayer-specific game modes
Of course, this is just the beginning. Developer Tuxedo Labs intends to continue adding to and improving Teardown—both the single-player and multiplayer portions.
In fact, the team said:
We are currently working on a brand-new multiplayer racing experience planned for release later this year. Stay tuned. There is more to come.
I don’t know about you, but destructive racing against my friends? That sounds awesome!
