Following the surprise drop of the Starfield Creation Club and Creation Kit following the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, folks are navigating the latest efforts to include paid mods in a Bethesda experience. One question we all have is regarding achievements. Specifically, does the Starcraft Creation Club disable achievements?
Do Creation Club Mods Disable Achievements in Starfield?
I don’t know about you, but I’m not an achievement hunter. It’s cool to unlock a trophy and see all your hard work culminate in a pop-up that others can view on your profile, I guess. But I’d rather play the game for the experience. I realize that my view on the subject isn’t definitive, however. As such, we dove in to explore whether the Starfield Creation Club disables achievements, and it turns out that, sadly, some do.

When you first access the Creations Home via the main menu, the game warns you that most Creations disable the game’s achievements by default. Only a select few won’t; those are the handful of official Creations from Bethesda. These include:
- Ancient Mariner Module
- Blackout Drumbeat Skin
- Constellation Plushie Set
- Observatory
- Starborn Gravis Suit
- Trackers Alliance: The Vulture
You can score a few of these for free!

You can pay for Nexus Premium if you’d like quicker downloads and a more approachable experience, but it’s not a requirement.
