As one of the indie scene’s most beloved releases, fans always want more. There’s a lot to see, do, and achieve in Stardew Valley, and now we can enjoy the challenge of unlocking additional achievements in Update 1.6. There are nine in total, so best of luck earning each one!
All New Achievements in Update 1.6 of Stardew Valley
As mentioned, Update 1.6 of Stardew Valley features nine new achievements to unlock. They mostly revolve around the new content included in this update.

| Danger in the Deep | Reach the bottom of the ‘dangerous’ mines |
| Good Neighbors | Help your forest neighbors grow their family |
| Infinite Power | Obtain the most powerful weapon |
| Perfection | Reach the summit |
| Two Thumbs Up | See a movie |
| Well-Read | Read every book |
You’ll note that some of these unlock for completing past content, such as visiting Ginger Island, cooking for the Governor, or obtaining the Galaxy Sword.

Do Achievements Unlock on Old Saves?
Yes! If you’ve completed specific objectives, such as reaching the Summit, you’ll retroactively unlock the new achievements in Update 1.6 of Stardew Valley. You don’t even need to start a new game. You can continue playing on an old save, unlock the achievements for past accomplishments, and shoot for the new ones.
