Game exclusivity is growing old. Too many exciting upcoming titles are locked behind digital storefronts for six months to one year, and it kills any hype for those who must wait. By the time the game inevitably launches elsewhere, most prospective players have moved to the next big thing. With that said, is Stalker 2 coming to PS5?
Can You Play Stalker 2 on PS5?
Unfortunately, there’s no word about Stalker 2 launching on PS5. We know for sure the game is coming to Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through multiple digital storefronts, such as Steam and Epic Games Store. However, there’s no word about the open-world first-person shooter that oozes immersion coming to PS4 or PS5.
The most recent Stalker trilogy, which brought all three of the original titles to new players, did, in fact, launch on all systems besides Nintendo Switch. It would be a crying shame for GSC Game World to ignore the PlayStation community, but we don’t think that will happen. The Xbox deal was likely necessary to fund the game’s development, and it’ll end in due time.
