Can You Play Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Crossplay?
You can play Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 crossplay on launch day. Creative director Oliver Hollis-Leick said cross-platform play will be available on day one.
Even better, the feature will be made available to all systems. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Typically, when a game launches on those three systems, crossplay usually only functions between PC and Xbox. It’s nice to see the PS5 included in the party!

Does Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Have Voice Chat?
While we’re excited about crossplay, the feature is only helpful if we can adequately communicate with the whole team, even across systems. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has extensive communication options, including active and push-to-talk voice communication.
However, you also have options if you’re not one to hop on the mic. The game features a radial menu with various phrases and commands, including “Attack” and “Defend,” to help coordinate your teammates. Alternatively, unique phrases like “Bolter Loaded” alert your team to your current combat readiness.
