A Long-Awaited Arrival for PlayStation Fans
Later this year, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is going to be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro after the successful release on PC and Xbox Series X|S in November of 2024. A specific launch date will be shared closer to release, so please keep an eye out for further news.
Taking Full Advantage of PlayStation 5 Tech
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will leverage the console hardware tech, including use of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for full player immersion. Additional features and enhancements are in development for use on the PlayStation 5 Pro.
Not to mention the use of Unreal Engine 5 and photogrammetry technology in the game, which further immersion and realism.
What is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2?
A non-linear epic story following Skif, the player character, allows you to immerse yourself in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone and search out the Heart of Chornobyl. Gradually, you unravel narratives by discovering friendly (and hostile) characters, fighting enemies, maintaining balance between the various in-game factions, and discovering secrets and surviving in this dangerous, ever-changing world. Because the game is non-linear, no two experiences in the Zone will be the same.
