You’ll note how positively messy humans are as you attempt to run a totally nonchalant gas station in Roadside Research. They leave behind trash constantly. One of the earliest Alien upgrades you’ll most likely unlock is the trash can, which allows humans to toss trash away instead of on the floor. Unfortunately, you must still empty the trash bin in Roadside Research to keep things tidy. Here’s how!
How to Empty the Trash Can in Roadside Research
Right, so you spent the 300 points to unlock the trash can from the Alien upgrade menu, and then you spent $100 to plop one down somewhere on the property. I like to place mine outside, near the smoking section.
Once it fills up, walk up to the trash bin and right-click. You don’t need a garbage bag from the back room in your hands. When you interact with the trash bin once it’s full, you automatically bag everything up.
Once you have the bag in hand, deposit it in the analyzer machine in the back room to soak up those valuable points for upgrades!
Easy enough, right? I recommend having at least two trash cans, one inside and one outside, to keep the gas station clean-ish.
