You’ll find that Rise of Gun offers a challenge despite its artsy aesthetic, which provides a sense of casualness. Even if you’re an old hand at management games, this one will give you a run for your money in the early game. Before long, however, you’ll find yourself raking in cash. But for now, here is where to get free weapon parts in Rise of Gun!
How to Get Free Weapon Parts in Rise of Gun
When you first start a game of Rise of Gun, you have a handful of weak components on your workbench. They’re enough to build a revolver-like weapon, which will sell for less than $100. It’s enough to see you through an objective or two in the tutorial but not enough to make serious money as a weaponsmith in the zombie apocalypse.
Before you start unlocking different routes around town, there are two key locations where you can check for free weapon parts in Rise of Gun. Upon leaving your gun shop, a tight alleyway is straight ahead on the left-hand side of the road. If you follow the winding path, you’ll stumble upon a small seating area with a lot of trash, a couch and chair along the far wall, and a fire axe embedded in the door. You’ll find a bayonet and a magazine sitting on the sofa and chair.
The next spot to check is the rooftop gardens. You can find the alleyway with the ramp leading up to the rooftops past the diner. If you check the screenshot above, the arrow indicates the alley’s location.
Follow the ramp leading up, then check around the gardens. You’ll find three additional weapon parts up top, including a stock in the greenhouse to the left of the entrance, a barrel in the red cargo container down the path to the right, and a base in the outhouse just over the ramp leading to the small section of the rooftop at the end.
Remember: You can only carry a single weapon part in your hands. Each time you pick up a part, you must return to your gun shop to deposit it in storage before returning for more. You won’t have the same problem by buying weapon parts, however.

Where to Buy Weapon Parts in Rise of Gun
Alternatively, if you have the cash to spare or have exhausted all of the free weapon parts in the early game section of Rise of Gun, you can purchase additional components from the merchant in the church.
Upon leaving your weapon shop, you’ll find the church down the road on the right-hand side of the street. It’s hard to miss. But be wary about what you buy, as some parts will waste money. You’ll get the hang of combining the best weapon parts for the most value in due time!
