When it comes to modern tactical shooters, players routinely recommend a small handful. Among those is usually Ready or Not. It’s the definitive SWAT-style tactical shooter on the market today, and I’ve had a lot of fun playing it alongside my partner. But we want more. So, when is the Ready or Not Home Invasion DLC release date?
When Does the Home Invasion DLC for Ready or Not Come Out?
The Ready or Not Home Invasion DLC was initially planned for a spring release. However, a recent development update from developer VOID Interactive revealed that’s no longer the case. On Steam, they said that while they’ll miss the spring release window, the upcoming DLC is nearly complete.
As such, no one actually knows the Home Invasion DLC release date—not even VOID. We’ll likely see more in the coming weeks, but the work required to port Ready or Not to Unreal Engine 5 took its toll on the new content’s development.

What’s Included in the Home Invasion DLC?
However, alongside notice of the DLC’s delay, VOID unveiled more about the included content within the Home Invasion DLC. We’ll receive:
- Three new weapons
- Three new maps
Besides the work in the background porting the game to the new version of the Unreal Engine, we know very little else about the upcoming DLC. It’s clearly going to be relatively small, though the three map teasers prove they’re going for quality over quantity with their content approach.
That said, this is only DLC number one. VOID revealed that preliminary work on the second DLC, started by the level design and art teams, has already begun.
