What Are Tourists in Pacific Drive?
You’ll note that Tourists take on the appearance of mannequins. This is one of the most frightening anomalies in the game. You’re out in the middle of the woods, usually in the dark, and then there’s a dummy blocking the road. It’s too much.
This anomaly is explosive, and if you walk too close, it will deal massive damage. Furthermore, it’s attracted to light, so your headlights and flares will attract it further. If you spot a handful of them blocking the way, turn off any light sources you have running. If you don’t, the moment you turn away, they’ll surround you.

How to Deal With Tourists
Like the Weeping Angels of Doctor Who, Tourists in Pacific Drive will actively move when you turn away from them. If you keep your eye on one, the anomaly will remain firmly in place. But that’s only the case with the mannequins not implanted in the ground.
Furthermore, Tourists explode. If you walk or drive too close, you risk setting the anomaly off, which will, unfortunately, cause massive explosive damage to your person and vehicle. The cost to repair your station wagon is high, so it’s best to veer off the road and around the anomaly whenever possible.
