These are Teleportation Towers, and you can interact with them to unlock a fast-travel point in the game. It pays to wander the world, explore the various biomes, and unlock as many fast-travel points as possible to make navigation easier in the future.
- As you explore the environment, you will inevitably stumble upon the ideal location for your first base. It’s gorgeous, with a screenshot-worthy vista, plenty of open space to expand, and a number of resources in the immediate area. The latter is most vital, as you want plenty of resources for crafting and construction.
- Once Human offers a unique variety of clothing and armor options, and they’re more than just fashion pieces. The game’s armor system features a variety of effects, with set pieces offering additional bonuses when you equip more than one from the unique set, so consider function over fashion for now.
- It’s easy to ignore the game’s main storyline in favor of exploration, crafting, and base building, but don’t! As you progress through the main quest, you’ll eventually unlock a motorcycle blueprint that allows you to travel much quicker through the environment.
