What’s a zombie survival game without various zombies to fight? From the slow-moving walkers to the hulking behemoths known as Brutes, the world of Never Be Alone proves dangerous. Here’s a look at the various zombie types in Never Be Alone, with a quick rundown of each!
Zombie Types in Never Be Alone
As a zombie apocalypse game, Never Be Alone must, of course, include a bunch of different zombie types. It’s, like, a rule for the genre. In this game, there are 11 zombie types currently, but that could change as development continues throughout the year.
For now, here’s what undead you can expect to face:
- Walker – Your standard slow-moving zombie, a common threat that shouldn’t pose much of a problem to survivors. If you allow them to group up, however, expect overwhelming trouble.
- Runner – A faster variant of the walker, capable of moving quickly and chasing down survivors. They’ll continue chasing their target until it’s down or they lose sight.
- Bloater – An oversized zombie type capable of exploding upon death, releasing a toxic gas cloud that proves lethal to survivors. Use a long-range weapon to take down a Bloater.
- Stalker – A fast-moving zombie type that traverses the environment on all fours, blending in with the surrounding landscape. They ambush survivors, striking fast and hard.
- Ripper – A blind zombie type capable of hearing survivors from great distances and with pinpoint accuracy. Use stealth and a long-range weapon, ideally with a suppressor, to take down the Ripper.
- Kid Zombies – Child zombies prove disturbing, fast, and with small hitboxes, making them challenging to take down individually, but even worse in groups. They’re capable of slipping into gaps and hiding spots most zombies can’t reach.
- Infected Brute – Think of the Infected Brute as a boss-type zombie. This behemoth proves exceptionally dangerous up close, demolishing any survivor foolish enough to go toe-to-toe.
