Key Features in the New Co-Op Update
- Play Together: Local split-screen co-op and Steam Remote Play support.
- Drop-in/Drop-out Gameplay: Join or leave a friend’s world at any time.
- Shared World, Separate Progression: Each player retains their own skills, levels, inventory, and gear.
- Revive Mechanic: A new “downed” state lets players rescue each other in combat.
- Family Building: Marry your co-op partner and raise a child, who grows over time and eventually becomes an adult NPC.

Forge Your Path—Together
Every inch of Mirthwood is now shareable with a co-op partner, whether you’re farming, fighting, or—for the romantically inclined—starting a family together. Players can marry and have a child together. Your child will inherit traits from both parents, and eventually grow up and forge their own path. Player 2 has full access to all game mechanics and their own individual inventory, skills, and gear.
The update also features new content, as mentioned above, such as: a directional attack indicator, enemy lock-on system, new farm structures and items, and performance optimizations.
