Do you remember the original Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine? It was such a fantastic experience, full of chaotic action, brilliant futuristic setpieces, and voice acting, which helped set the tone and create an absolutely memorable experience. Well, that was renowned actor Mark Strong. I don’t know about you, but I want more of that voice acting in the upcoming sequel. So, is Mark Strong in Space Marine 2?
Is Mark Strong Playing Titus in Space Marine 2?
Unfortunately, the venerable Mark Strong will not reprise his role as Captain Titus in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Instead, the voice acting work falls to Clive Standen, who is known for Vikings, Robin Hood, and Doctor Who.
I will say that Standen was positively fantastic in his role as Rollo in Vikings. For the longest time, it was one of my wife and I’s favorite series. But given the choice between the two, I think I would fall more in line with Mark Strong. He provided a certain charisma and heroic nature to the character.
That said, Standen’s version is clearly more aggressive and visceral, which lends itself to the core gameplay loop. In the sequel, we’ll face off against significantly larger hordes of enemies (Tyranids) than the Orks of the first game.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Voice Actors
Alongside Standen taking on the role of Captain Titus, we don’t fully know who is providing voice work for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The studio behind the title, Saber Interactive, remains relatively hush-hush on the matter. It’s unlikely we’ll see any big-name stars like Strong or Standen, but a few noteworthy voice actors from within the industry seem likely. Why haven’t we received any names yet, though?

Of the many upcoming titles launching this fall, none has The Guide Hall as excited as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. It’s shaping up to be one of the most visceral cooperative action games hitting in a long time!
