How to Craft String in Lost Rift
As you progress through the prologue, which serves as a tutorial, in Lost Rift, you’ll inevitably stumble upon a mission tasking you with constructing certain items, like a Bow. For that, you require String. It’s the inevitable survival game progression path in which a low-tier item leads to a mid-tier item, which then leads to a high-tier item, and so on.
For now, let’s focus on getting you enough String to survive the desolate island!
To craft string in Lost Rift, you need:
- x5 Fiber
That’s easy enough to acquire, though. You can find Fiber all over the place, especially on the beach near Wade’s location. Fiber is the fallen sticks with dried-up leaves. You can also collect Fiber from certain plants in the jungle, like bushes. Look for the prompt when traversing the landscape.
Once you have enough Fiber, you then need to build a Workbench. You cannot craft String in your ‘Quick Crafting’ menu via your inventory. It’s Workbench or nothing.
Once you place your Workbench, select it with ‘F’, and then you’ll find String on the top row, usually the third recipe at the top.
