Warhorse Studios has come out with a new video that confirmed the official release date for their new title, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Unfortunately, they said that they couldn’t make their goal for a 2024 release. Luckily, the new release date isn’t that far away. In fact, it’s slated for the anniversary week of their first game’s release, February 11th, 2025.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Release Date
Previously, Warhorse Studios was looking for a possible release in 2024. However, they believe this new date will give them more breathing room to truly deliver on their title. Unfortunately, this does mean that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has been delayed. Although, this delay will likely be more beneficial to the developers and all of us in the long run.
Personally, I feel like this is positive news for KCD2. The new date holds great significance for them as a studio. What’s more, is that this means they will have a larger portion of time to hew and refine their title. In other words, more time for them will lead to a better game and will, therefore, be more enjoyable to us. The developers at Warhorse Studios likely felt that this was the best course of action, and if this new date works for them, then it works for me.
Collector’s Edition
Alongside the release date, Warhorse has also teased us with a glimpse at the Collector’s Edition box in their video. From what they’ve shown, it looks like a hefty box, and it has some cool exterior designs. We don’t know what’s inside it yet, but we’ll update you when we learn more about its contents.
