Unlike previous entries in the horde shooter franchise, Killing Floor 3 features a suite of weapons set firmly in the game’s futuristic setting. You won’t find the usual M4 or M9 here, but instead firearms that feel like they belong in Robocop. But hey, that’s not always a bad thing, because these weapons are far more customizable as a result.
All Weapons in Killing Floor 3
At launch, there are five weapons for each of the six classes in Killing Floor 3: four primary weapons and one sidearm per class. You can mix and match mid-round, purchasing weapons from other classes to suit your playstyle, so you’re never locked into a single set of weapons.
Personally, I like to play as Commando and, during the late-game, purchase the G33 from the Engineer weapon tree for explosive ordnance!

How to Customize Weapons

You’ll find the Armory located down a hallway to the right-hand side of the Mission Control terminal in the center of your home base. Once in the room, look for the circular console set against the back wall, with its blue lighting. Walk up and press ‘E’ on the keyboard to access the Armory. Alternatively, you can hit tab to access the game’s menu and enter the Armory from anywhere in your home base.

From here, select the class you’re most interested in, then choose which weapon you’d like to customize and tweak. There are a variety of options available regarding the game’s weapon customization suite, including:
- Ammunition
- Barrel
- Underbarrel
- Sight
- Magazine
- Internal
- Weapon Skin
- Weapon Trinket

Initially, you won’t have any weapon attachments unlocked for the game’s firearms. You must craft them using various components, such as Chemical Agents, Electrical Parts, and Scrap Metal, all of which you can acquire mid-round by slaying Zeds.
In any case, once you’ve selected your customizations, don’t forget to save the build and name it anything you like to differentiate your custom weapon from the vanilla build in a mission.
From weapon customization to Zed-slaying tips, The Guide Hall will be by your side through the end of days as we delve into Killing Floor 3 on launch!
