I’ve been patiently waiting for more House Flipper 2 DLC that wasn’t cartoon-themed since shortly after the game’s release. Like many of you, I breezed through the content in the vanilla game, and I desperately want more. Thankfully, Frozen District heard our cries for sustenance. The studio unveiled a Japanese-themed House Flipper 2 DLC called Sakura, featuring a cozy small town, new jobs to complete, and themed items!
Currently, the new expansion is slated for Q2 2026. Alongside Sakura, Frozen District also updated its community on the inevitable Pets DLC, saying:
Over the past couple of months, we’ve been focusing on the Pets DLC for House Flipper 2, and we’re now confident that this major DLC will arrive around Q4 2026! While we’re continuing to work towards this long-awaited launch, we couldn’t resist surprising you with an extra content DLC for the first half of 2026.
As for the story of Sakura:
You arrive in Japan on the invitation of an old friend, who wishes to collaborate with you as she launches her interior design company. But this is just the beginning – in such a small town, everyone knows each other, and you might soon realize how big an impact your work has on the local community. Learn about traditional Japanese architecture and receive feedback from now more opinionated buyers as you navigate some previously untried renovation projects.
