I’m a huge fan of the zombie survival genre, and despite most people’s exhaustion surrounding the theme, I’m still fully onboard. Thankfully, with the launch of Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, my love for all things zombies continues unhindered. But what about my console brethren? Not everyone plays on PC. So, is Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days coming to consoles? Specifically, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
Is Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days Coming to PS5 or Xbox Series X/S?
You’ll be happy to know that, in due time, Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It’s unclear precisely when, however. The team intends to remain in Early Access, working diligently on squashing bugs and adding additional content, for approximately 12 to 18 months. After that, they’ll work on a console launch…if the game performed well on PC.

It’s a winning formula for a controller, though. I’ll say that now as someone who has only played the game using a controller. It’s smooth and responsive, and the overall gameplay loop proves itself functional for a console experience.

Is Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days Coming to Mobile?
As for a mobile release, which is something a few people within the community have requested, you can see in the screenshot above that the studio may consider a mobile launch for Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days. I’d imagine the priority goes something like this, though: PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and then way down the line, there are mobile platforms.
