I consider myself a proficient player of extraction and tactical shooters. I enjoy most of them, including Escape From Tarkov, Six Days in Fallujah, and ARMA 3. However, occasionally, I stumble upon a quest that makes me pause. Here, it was Stealth Surveillance—specifically, where to plant surveillance bugs in Incursion Red River!
Where to Plant Bugs in Stealth Surveillance
As part of Stealth Surveillance, you aim to sneak into the quarry and plant five surveillance bugs on the exterior of five container homes surrounding the work site. Each objective is marked on your map with a white bug icon, but it’s up the hill from where you spawn. It would be best to trek up the road and then find the dirt path with the sheet metal bridging the gap.
Once you come up on one of the container homes, find the point on the outside of the unit to place the bug. It will appear as an interactable notification, asking you to hold ‘F’ to set the surveillance bug.
Here is where to find each one:
Bug #1
The first surveillance bug attaches to the container home on the left-hand side of the unit when facing the front door. It’s about halfway up the exterior wall near some bushes and trees.
Bug #2
The second surveillance bug requires you to walk up the hill east of the first container home and then place the bug on the sandbags beside the unit.
Bug #3
Following the third surveillance bug, you can walk along the outer wall, over the rocks at the top of the quarry, to reach the final three container homes. The third container is just inside the small compound up the hill, and you’ll plant the bug on the right-hand bottom corner from the front entrance.
Bug #4
The final two surveillance bugs require the two container homes sitting directly beside each other a little further up the camp. The fourth bug goes on the right-hand corner, along the unit seam.
Bug #5
The last surveillance bug goes on the far right side of the container home, around the corner from the front door, about halfway up the exterior wall.
Once you’ve planted all five surveillance bugs, there’s an extraction point just northeast of the final container. You must head down the road and then access the building and storage yard from the front. I encountered a single guard here.
